I would like to know where can i get a prepaid visa or mastercard to use for online shopping.

Address verification system

Well as far as I know, and I speak under correction, the anonymous cards are not enabled for online purchases. A prepaid card really is just for card-present transactions, as the card keeps the master balance. Because the prepaid cards normally are these contactless cards as well. So it allows offline spending, which is not possible in an online purchase environment.

I think what the OP actually wants is a virtual card, not a prepaid card. And for that VCPay will probably work.

Don't see a Visa/MC being anything other than "enabled for online purchases"? Or put differently I don't think there is a mechanism in place to prevent / disable it.

VCPay also doesn't have AVS. Same story for entropay & every other virtual card I know of (except sketchy ones).

Tell that to the banks. Some account types behind the card it doesn't work with. Legacy really.

Saw one recently at Dischem, it was an off the shelf item... Think it may have been Mastercard...

I make use of VCpay, so do two of my Guildies. We buy Gems for GuildWars 2 though the GW2 Trading Post. Works like a charm. Doesn't work with PayPal though, I've tried, nor does it work with Google Play.

What could you use to pay for something like Netflix which requires a monthly amount, I have vcpay account but think thats for once off transactions?

VCPay works with Google Play for me.

How did you get it to work? Google wants me to add a card, and when I do, it deducts an amount from the card, and when this happens the transaction fails, I assume because it is a once off card... orrrr.. perhaps because I need to take into account the amount that Google deducts when I create the card.... hmmm. Must try again.

@Hemps, no idea if there is a solution for us that will allow reusable virtual cards.
