Anyone available to test 3G with a laptop or cellphone in the Villieria region please? :rolleyes:

Whats this about testing in Villieria??
I've been using 3G with laptop in Villieria for 2 months now and must say I'm starting to crack up!.. very very very usntable and frankly bloody irretating

The thread about DNS timeouts, in fact all threads related to 3G problems sounds all too fimiliar to me.

I'm feeling very much like a ginny pig except I'm paying for the experiments aswell!

Hope you find somebody so this ginny pig can be reintroduced into the wild..

Ive spoken to Andre, he is one of the 3G co-ordinators for Vodacom 3G Pretoria, and appearently our base stations is set for upgrade in Phase 2, which runs from June - December 2005. He recons by end of September 2005 our base stations would be upgraded.

Can you perhaps contact me so that we can get together? I would like to experience this 3G hick-ups if possible. If you are interested, send me a pvt message with your number I will call you.

Seems we are in the same boat, 2 months sounds like a long time sitting with problems like this :mad: . Ever considering canceling your contract?
