I think its new and innovative which counts. However one must wonder how it will appear when you neighbour drives by watching you vacuum the outer side of the car door....
If you read the article.. You would know it does have backlights... The material (Cloth) used lets light through, so when the backlights are used, they will be seen through the fabric...
The frontlights have motorised lifters that open them up... Or something like that
then you should see the video where you see it all work etc.
imho i think it's a pioneering idea but pathetic execution until they find the right 'fabric', but then i suppose it is an idea at the mo. watching the car change shape under the 'cloth' is pretty wicked.
