Anyone use any experience good or bad.

I had a malware Trojan (UPD34.exe) running that Spyware removers detect but could not remove effectively for some reason. I eventually used this util to remove the trojan based on Internet advice (Hijackthis forum). The file it found re-enabling the trojan all the time was Updater.exe in windows system. The problem was solved. Now the program is running all the time enabled and I have set it for showing a non intrusive window every-time some unknown or new process start or stop. I have something trying starting my dial-up modem for a long time, never bothered to cure it. Prevx have logged the culprit as Windows auto updater Microsoft. Now only to disable it remains.

Nice Util as it will detect malware in the start phase showing and tracking any unauthorized activity. The free Demo runs for 31 days fully functional and thereafter only as detector. Worth a try IMHO.

Some more info

Unlike antivirus products, which scan for malware based on known "signatures" that have been discovered previously, Prevx uses heuristics to seek out applications and processes that behave suspiciously on the end user's machine. When such suspicious activity occurs, the client reports the behavior to the Prevx database, where it is analyzed through both automated and manual study.

The heuristics approach is a better backup for antivirus tools, because it analyzes malware behavior, rather than filenames, Erasmus says. "No matter what they call it, we can usually spot it."
