I'm looking to upgrade my laptop. Mainly because I need/want a bigger screen.

I would like an indication of what I can get for my current laptop so that I can work on the budget.

Sony Vaio VGN-CR25G - http://www.sony.co.za/product/vgn-cr25g

Specs:
• Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T7250 (2GHz)
• Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium
• 14.1" WXGA display(1280 x 800)
• Built-in 1.3 megapixel camera
• 1GB DDR2 RAM --> I have upgraded it to 3GB
• 160GB SATA 5400rpm HDD --> I have upgraded it to a 320GB SATA 7200rpm
• ATI Mobility Radeon™ X2300
• Multi DVD drive
• Bluetooth
• Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g
• Multiple card reader
• And all the other standard stuff. http://www.sony.co.za/product/vgn-cr25g

It is in excellent condition. Always been run with a cooling fan attached to the bottom. Touchpad almost never been used. Screen is perfect. No dead pixels or nothing.
Only cosmetic problems:
• Corner of the lamination over a sticker has come loose. Was always going to happen because your palms rest there when tying. Can easily be removed.
• The laptop has a silver edge at the bottom. My watch and fiancee's jewelery scratched it very finely. Was always going to happen because you wrists rest on it while typing. Can't be noticed unless you are looking for faults.

What would I be able to get for this laptop?

I am looking to get a 17" laptop. I rarely take it out of the house, so weight etc. is not an issue to me.
Any recommendations will be appreciated. Not a fanboi so brand doesn't matter that much.

Thanks in advance.
