As Telkom has reduced their prices, I would like to know if any of you guys received reduced prices from your ISP's regarding ADSL packages? :sick:

Well, yeah they have cut the prices from the 1st of August. hellkom.co.za has a little graph to show adsl price reductions and they got some other info on there, just scroll done a bit :P

ISP's can only reduce their ADSL line or complete packages, there wasn't any reduction in the bandwidth price was there?

Anyway, one new ISP who have great prices and recently dropped their prices is www.solmatrix.co.za . R250 for 5GB :D Good complete packages as well, the best I've seen in some cases.

This subject line got my heart rate going - for a sec I thought Telkom had reduced the prices even further!! :mad: :eek:

Don't do that to us! :p

1+1 != 2 here. . .

Hi,

Not me and I'm with IT (Paying R250 for a 3Gb 27GB IS package with them)

Why pay R250 when you can go with a more "well known" company like OpenWeb that gives you the same (3/27) for a mere R209 per month? Or even WA that comes second at R220 per month?

What are you trying to do? :eek:

What do you mean, the 5% reduction that came a while back or just the reductions that come in line with their ADSL reductions, like the 155mb lines etc..

Most ISP's aren't reacting, and havent in the past afaik, so I'm not sure if that really affects them?

The think it could have been the line-rental "per/bandwidth" prices...ie 512, 1 meg, 4 meg....I havnt got the exact price info, but it def came down...I got the 4Meg and my price decreased with nearly R100
