It is actually very expensive compared to Canada. *Very*. You can get 4 Mbps here (1.5 Mbps up) cable with 6 static IPs and 250 email addresses for 180 UK pounds a month. This is business class cable, not residential class. Residential is 3 Mbps / 320 Kbps for 20 UK pounds, or 6 Mbps / 640 Kbps for 30 UK pounds.

Haha, with that you might get my parents all riled up, but I'm a big fan of cold weather. Today is like 27 and I am hot. My favorite temperature is 10 to 15 Celsius with moderate humidity. When it goes above 5 I take out my sandals and shorts. As long as it is above -20 and below 15 I'm good.

The exception to this is when it drops to below -40. Then I get annoyed because it is too damn cold to do anything. You can't even snowboard because the wind will rip through you and it feels like -60 then. (-60 is really cold)

Just looking at the packages it becomes obvious how backward the Telkom offering is.

What appeals to me is the option of having a static IP-address included in the packages.

Note as well how clearly they state the contention ratio etc. One knows quite well what you are paying for.
