Primus TalkBroadband

My cousin just came from Toronto and brought a Primus TalkBroadband (D-Link) VoIP router with him so he can call back home via my ADSL connection. So now we've plugged the charger into a converter, and the modem's just not getting any power. But the weird thing is if I plug my iPod (from America) into the converter, that's charging fine. Anyone got any ideas of what's going wrong and a solution to fix it???

Is the converter you are using an electrical socket only adapter or does it also convert the voltage from 220v to 110v?

Nevermind got power now.... just can't get the stupid thing to work wonder if it possibly has anything to do with telkom blocking the ports
