I've had the exact same problem with a new Canon laser that was certified for Vista, oh oops no 64bit drivers, swapped it out for a Lexmark and have had no problems with it.
BTW looks like that Z13 is off the market, I guess it's quite old by now. Buy another one that uses the same cartridge you bought.

The Z13 printer was developed before Windows Vista operating system came out, and demand for the driver for that operating system is not there.

Somehow I suspect that coupon won't be valid in SA. Those coupons usually only work in the US & Canada.
