Printer issue

Hope u guys can help.
Im having issues with the printer at work, it takes ages to get to printing screen firstly. I dont know what it could be its a network printer, my old printer didnt have this issue. I know alot about IT but when it comes to printers i dont know so much. If u dont know what i mean heres an example : I click print and theres always the printing screen window that comes up this takes AGESSSSS then when u in and u wanna change the properties from portrait to landscape it take AGESSSSS again so i dunno can anyone maybe help and tell me where to start

What OS is on the PC & what drivers do you use (Printer original drivers? Allowed windows to detect & install)

did you install any new programs shortly before this problem started?

no i also thought that might be the issue.
I had an olddd ****ty printer on here so they changed to the nashua printers since then it started making issues and it takes ages to come up hey

Sounds like a driver issue. How about trying new drivers? Nashua don't manufacture all their printers, they re-brand them. That printer is actually a Ricoh (http://www.ricoh-usa.com/products/product_details.aspx?cid=25&scid=21&pid=1755), try using the drivers from the Ricoh website.
