Hi

Have an Epson 460 (old old model)

When I print something it goes to the print job section, but when I delete that job while printing it freezes. The print job freezes. Cant stop it.

Try to switch it off, when I put the printer back on, it starts printing CHINESE letters for hours on end.

This has happened over the years, so it cant be a virus.

PLEASE help

Think that's an good idea, just wondered if there was anyone else with an chinese printer?

It's just the garbage that is left in the buffer, the ID string for the printer is missing (when it got switched off) so it is printing without a clue what goes were. lots of smiling faces, a few pages with §§ and stuff

Anyway, switch off the printer, shut down the computer, put them both back on again and order will return... you can cancel the print job when the PC re-boots if you want to
