Printer/Scanner combo...what's on offer?

I'm shopping for my dad, so let's keep it on the simple side, if possible, please.

Basically, he needs a scanner and a printer for home usage. If b&W is available and is notably cheaper, that's ace too.

We're in the PMB area.

My Dad picked one up at Hi-Fi a day ago, on special. It was a slightly higher spec' than that, but he's happy as can be so far.

Hi Jarrod,

We eventually settled on a choice of two at Hi-Fi...one was a Canon Pixma ? and the other was the HP 2515, which he purchased for R699.

The specs were fairly similiar but the Pixma cartridges were WAY more expensive, so we figured pay a little bit more up front and save later on.
