Hi Guys.

Wanted some insight.

My office is now doing around 2000-3000 prints/ copies per month.

I enquired about those service contracts with automation companies and they rent you a machine then charge a print charge.
Is this worth it ?
I can afford to pay up to 8k for a good machine but would need one with a reasonably priced to toner with a high yield and low cost per print.

Any advice?

Very simple: compare your current costs with the quotations.

The terms of the quotations will vary, but should include toner and all maintenance.

Also check the networking requirements.

And yes, if the figures are right, it is worth it.

I know big companies like xerox and bizhub do decent contracts, my girlfriends parents got a printer that way, worked out cheaper and better as they didnt have to buy a printer and they come and change the toner for you.
