Someone asked me to find out for them what type of printer you would use to print on sticker labels  I have no idea.

You know those little labels that you pull off, I searched google for label printers, but it seems a label printer is a barcode label printer.

It's needed for some type of nonseness involving printing names and adresses and a few other details onto the labels.

If I recall correctly it used to be possible on dot matrix printers, but I'm not sure if I'm right.

Thanks for any help :)

I didn't know labels come out on an A4 sheet aswell ;) What type of software would you use to print it with? The printer probably needs to know what type of labels it is etc.

Okay, so what would you recommend in South Africa, label printing software and templates available locally? I'm thinking that if you use label printing software you need to specify which labels you use, like the templates, sorry I'm a bit confused, lol! Do you do this in microsoft word? Or use specific sofware?

Thanks guys, lol :) I guess I'll go for tower then :D Thanks so much, this was easy enough.

Hi tereside, just wonder if you not looking for a thermal label printer. Guys at the nurseries use it to put on the pots because it is water resistant.
