Private trackers

Gosh this is all so new to me but also an interesting project if I can get it right!
 
Who do you guys use for seedboxes? And how much do you pay for it?

Currently using a seedbox at my house over my 400/400Mbps connection, but it is not fast enough for ratio building.

Considering a server in Netherlands or somewhere in Europe.

Would like to know who you guys use and what recommendations do you have?

What is your budget? Depending on your budget I can assist you as I have been in the game for a few years

Whatever you do,never deal with Pulsed Media ever

Just get one from Swizzin
 
Do you really need 10Gbps on those trackers? I race perfectly fine with a 1Gbps and 90% of the time have a ratio of 2 when the race finishes

Do you mean HBD instead of Seedbox.io?

Yeah,my boxes are still under the seedbox.io domain so that's what it'll stay to me

Depends on how fast you want to build ratio. I am happy with my 1Gbps 160TB+ server but then again I am mostly on the unmentionable Usenet indexers and top tier PTs these days. Back when I first joined TL and TS I had a 10Gbps racer from walkerservers.com (now called hostingby.design)

EDIT: "90% of the time have a ratio of 2 when the race finishes" with a 10Gbps you could easily get 4-8 ratio on low tier PTs if you set it up correctly. Higher tier PTs tend to be far more unforgiving with slower speeds.

Also Captain Morgan are you using autodl/autobrr or are you using RSS?

I use autobrr with transmissionbt.

Would like to build ratio quickly but don't want to pay an arm and leg for a seedbox.

Have check quite a few mixed reviews for different providers.

Ideally don't want to pay more than R500 or R600 per month. Currently on TL, IPT, TD and AR.

Got a 400/400Mbps connection at home. Basically want to find out whether I must upgrade connection to 1Gbps/500Mbps and upgrade my local server possibly.

Currently have an i7 with normal HDDs. Seen people recommend nvme drives. Using the swizzin script on Ubuntu linux.

Rather use qBittorrent instead of transmission, it has built in reannounce with AutoBrr, qBittorrent also known to run much more torrents at overall better speeds
SSD will be fine but if you care about racing, NVME all the way, especially in Raid0, then move the torrent after the race to your HDDs

What do you mean by feature on the list of private trackers? Like by exclusivity? Quality of releases?
 
Guys so I am on this new obsession to learn all of this, started with Plex
Then MFC and Waka and NOW it seems you guys are speaking another language altogether
going to google terms in this thread and learn thanks :-)

Ordered a seedbox plan with Swizzin and they are using Leaseweb.
Impressed with the service and speed so far.

Have configured autobrr with qbittorrent, as recommended. Can see the improvement in my ratios.
