anyone on this forum running unraid ?
What is everybody's highest upload on any of their trackers?
how is it working for you ?Yup.
seedbox ?
Had one for about 1-2 years max. Mostly just time really, Iv been a member there for 12 years and got a good boost when I was on varsity when our lecturer gave us a NAS for the classseedbox ?
how is it working for you ?
I am looking at moving to unraid. plan is to have plex arr suite and torrents with some usenet running on there.
was looking at the trash guides for the setup. will have a mirror for the cache pool running on dual 1TB NVMe drives.
was thinking of a single share for media with all folders within it and use hardlinking in the arr apps so I could continue seeding long term.
are you running XFS on the array ? not too sure about this 1 I hear if you have a lot of users access the files at once could have a performance knock.
This is on TL and 9 months in, slowed down for 4 of the 9 months though, currently hitting things hard again, going for 1PB by end of year, averaging about 130TB a month

TL is Netherlands Dedi valley how are you managing to race like that with Hetzner?
looks good.Been running for I’m guessing nearly 10 years with little in the way of issues.
The lovely thing about it is that you don’t have to pre-plan the array or have all the drives. I started with 2 4TB drives and no parity. Later added a 5TB and at some point added another for parity.
Then I got a 6TB which I think is now the parity drive. Ran out of slots and actually removed the cache drive so that now everything is on the array and it’s very happy.
Reading files is no issue with XFS and it’s generally just writing that is slow but you aren’t going to be doing all that much of that.
I run Plex, Sonarr, Transmission and Radarr and bunch of other dockers on it and array speed has never been an issue.

Probably time for some bigger drives.
how you managed to do this on TL with such high seed time requirements. I don't use TL much because of the high seed time. This is on TL and 9 months in, slowed down for 4 of the 9 months though, currently hitting things hard again, going for 1PB by end of year, averaging about 130TB a month

I get on average 1.7 ratio when torrent is complete. Once I hit less than 750GB of space, I have requirements that have to be met by the torrent so that it can be automatically removedhow you managed to do this on TL with such high seed time requirements. how much storage do you have on you seedbox to seed that much?
nice setup you have there. must be costing you a lot though.I get on average 1.7 ratio when torrent is complete. Once I hit less than 750GB of space, I have requirements that have to be met by the torrent so that it can be automatically removed
I have 2 x 1TB NVME (Raid-0) and 64GB of RAM, with a i7-8700
45 Euros a month isn't too bad tbhnice setup you have there. must be costing you a lot though.
