I have an i7 with Nvme drives the best i get is 40mbps upload. i think it could also be that peering plays a main role when it comes to seeding. the biggest swarms are in EU perfect for your box.

not sure what client you are using. i am running qbit not sure if i could set things a bit better.

South Africans can't compete in torrenting, swarms are almost always EU, peering is the main problem, best to get a Dedi for a few months and rack up a few hundred TBs

Gotta second/third/eighth Usenet here.

While a crapshoot for Games and Anime, it's paradise for everything else.
For TV Series and Movies there is bar nothing close to having Sonarr setup. I didn't even know how fast my line could be until I bit the bullet. Not worrying about ratios AT ALL or seeding or monitoring is a massive bonus.
The cost is surprisingly low compared to what guys here are doing with seedboxes. $80 a year would have you setup in Usenet with 1 downloader and 2 providers. If you went to lifetime memberships it gets even cheaper.

Having some cost and complexity to setup is an ire, but you'll appreciate not worrying about things, speeds private trackers cannot compete with, and Sonarr's robust automation.

Yeah unfortunately ~170ms+ away from the dedi's racing in the swarm you can't compete although I see that even a server with an hdd hosted in Teraco can do better than an FTTH line.

Why Frugal if you're going for Easynews? Legit question as I was warned against Frugal but I thought it was just the "download" provider? Where as Easynews is a download AND okayish indexer? Though EN on its own would never have done me well enough, NZBGeek and NZBPlanet feel mandatory as indexers.

But hey, tons of stuff! Even find weird ass old reality TV shows for relatives with weird ass taste in reality tv shows on there.

Does FileList really only allow a tracker connection from 1 IP?

Oh really? That's interesting how much better?

I mean speed on a private tracker is no issue, I hit 1Gbps on every download
I could just get a Dedi for one month, 45 euros and do 150TB, I will be sorted for life, I just enjoy seeing the numbers go up.
Also the fact that since being on private trackers, you meet new people and it gets you into even more private trackers and much more perks

This has been the winner for me. I've met a lot of likeminded nerds on IRC these past years that have invited me to some pretty neat places

How does one get into the private tracker crowd? I always seem to be late to the open invites.

There's quite a few invites going around. I have one for TorrentLeech if you want.

That said, if you got a vpn, private trackers aren't really necessary. Even though I have a TL account I have it disabled on my automation. Public trackers working fine and everything is behind a vpn.

Why do you use a VPN? Really no need tbh
