Private trackers

That said, if you got a vpn, private trackers aren't really necessary. Even though I have a TL account I have it disabled on my automation. Public trackers working fine and everything is behind a vpn.

I would like that, thanks.

I do have a vpn. Thing is, I have a suspicion that there are some stuff on private trackers (likely oddball and / or older stuff) that isn't really available on public trackers. But if I'm wrong on this, feel free to correct me.

Private is by far better, especially speed wise, you just need to make sure you seed for the required time or hit a 1 ratio on each torrent

I have a seedbox, I'm sure that can be made to work with private trackers?

Private trackers are new to me so I'm still figuring stuff out.

Okay yea, you need to get yourself a Dedi, uncapped 1Gbps, on private trackers if you get a HBD (Hosting By Design) Dedi, you will get at least 100TB in a month

I'm assuming the box I have (shared?) doesn't have App slots?

Oh, you have an app slot box, which means the hardware is shared between multiple users
If you get a Dedi (Dedicated) server, all the hardware is only being used by you and all the speed is yours
Give huge benefits getting a Dedi, but a little bit pricier

using a VPN with private trackers will make it hard to seed the torrents unless the VPN supports port forwarding.
