Private trackers

if you use something like stremio or Kodi with Debrid, all content is also available the moment it's released. If not, I'm sure a private tracker is just as fast with releases as some of the big public trackers. I can't believe something will be available on a private tracker before it's released on something like 1377x as an example. Maybe I'm wrong, like I said I have no experience with private trackers.

I understand why a private tracker would be used if it's free and more "safe" than a public tracker. But torrents in general are dodge AF, even if I use a private tracker I won't use it without VPN, and I'm always sceptical how good a VPN really is, if it disconnects a split second your IP is exposed. Hence me using debrid, which is cheaper than any VPN i know off, it's much faster than any torrent, and its safe as you are not the one downloading the torrent (which is one of their selling points)

Kind of not in the mood to write a wall of text but the tl;dr is private trackers are for niche and obscure content,community of like minded individuals,huge well seeded library,quality control and assurance i.e in terms of stuff like software/games you don't just want to run a random exe on your computer.

Are you into cult, exploitation and snuff films from the 50s then yeah you'll have a hard time finding that torrent alive on some public tracker.Private trackers atleast the elite ones are basically imdb with download links.There are trackers with more movies than any legal streaming platform on the planet.If you mostly consume mainstream content then you might probably never need to get into one bcoz most popular stuff is easily everywhere.

Although we are mainly talking about movies here,there are trackers explicitly dedicated to movies,music,books,games,proramming,porn,anime etc and they're almost complete archives of their respective categories.In trackers there are enthusiasts who will band together and create subs for some obscure indie movie made in Somalia.Are you looking for vids of some Venezuelan camwhore on chaturbate? The guys got you sorted and will rip it.There are too many pros to write on a single post
 
How does one get into GGN these days?

anyone here on GGN is it worth the effort trying to get in

Current trackers I am on: BLU, Aither, FL, TL, ANT, AR, IPT, TD, LST

This does have my attention now. There are quite a few old Horror "indie" or B-movies I simply cannot find. And if you do find them there are never any seeders. I was under the impression these movies might be lost forever.

I never knew Private trackers goes this deep. I will check on reddit if I can convince someone to give me an invite :)

GGN is obviously worth the effort if you're a video game lover since nothing comes close to it and there's also the quality assurance point I mentioned in my previous comment.As usual the easiest way for newbies to climb the ladder and have a decent shot at joining the good trackers is joining red by taking their interview.All those trackers on your list there don't have decent invite forums.You might be lucky and get a user invite to great trackers on BLU/FL if you're a prominent figure there like uploader/encoder etc

GGN recruitment seems to be available through AR, although not sure if the recruiter is still active. have a few months to go to qualify for GGN.

For MTV i sent the recruiter a message about 2 months ago, never heard back so not to sure if the recruiters are still active there.

The friendship path lol but as I've said before just try to join one of the good trackers and all you've to do afterwards is wait for your opportunity to join.Last time I checked PTP was recruiting on HDB,BTN,Red,GGn,MTV,AB,BHD and OPS I think.

Yeah, I see there is a path from MTV/GGN to PTP wait period is 2 years.
 
I mean even a PM at this point would be lovely/some direction, but we seem to really fall short when local content on the Arrrrr's of the Sea! If anyone has/knows of a PT that hosts it, It would be nice to which ones so that I can work towards in the future.... :)
