Tin foil hat stuff i think, the fact that the pro 14 is willing to accommodate SA teams in their comp and England willing to let SA teams be based in England tells me they are bending over backwards for your lot.
If you want to be irate with anyone, surely it should be Aus and NZ, "booting" you out of super rugby / rugby Championship.

Umm yeah I think you need to go read up on what actually happened and also who brought the biggest money to the super rugby tournament.

Maybe I read fake news, but SARU decided to pull SA franchises out of super rugby in favor of playing in the northern hemisphere competitions. ( I find this very odd, because for years northern hemisphere rugby is supposed to be weak compared to southern hemisphere so why change????? ).
NZ only wanted a local competition / trans Tasmanian competition going forward ( NZ and AUS teams only, maybe ARG teams as well )
Maybe SA brought the most money to super rugby, Sports24 news articles vs SANZAR's financial books might have more information. so I'm not sure on this.
COVID19 did play a role in all the above.
If you Know something I might be missing or confused about, please enlighten me.

Ummm SARU pulling out of Super Rugby is a very different ballgame to being "booted" out, even if you put it in inverted commas.
Covid19 played a huge role in the dissolution of the Super Rugby competition... but it was already on the ropes. The travelling times for the teams was ridiculous, and Northern Hemisphere rugby is where the big money and viewership is these days and well for SA it works from a time zone point of view as well in many ways.
Ultimately though Covid is going to force a massive rethink of all of these tournaments across the globe in my opinion. For me one outcome would be local tournaments in each country and then a global "best of the country/region" type knockout thing held somewhere for a month where the top 2 teams from the big local tournaments play each other.

A football-style ''Champions League'' really should be what rugby looks at. Each country determines its domestic champion and then a regional (north/south) Champions League where the best of the best meet.
I would personally like to keep the North-South divide for the historical rivalry purposes. Both hemisphere's determine their champions and then the champions of the north and south meet at the end of the calendar year to determine the best.
An idea I had was for the southern hemisphere: SA's two Currie Cup finalists along with the top-2 from NZ and Oz and then the Japanese/Asian/Pacific champions and Argentine/South American champions (this may be complex to determine) meet in a tournament hosted by one country. 8 teams divided in to 2 pools of 4. Play each team in your pool once (3 games per team), so high-stakes games. Pool winners and runners-up play in a pair of semis. Then a final. Winner gets sent to play a two-legged grand final against the Northern Hemisphere champions, each team hosting a leg of the final. Aggregate final score over the two matches determines the best club/franchise/province/union in the world.
People will finally get their dream of the Crusaders and Leinster playing a game with something on the line and allowing both teams to host a leg of the final means both get to pack stadiums and everybody involved gets rich.

I personally think we need to get away from the North/South historic rivalry stuff to be honest.
I would much rather see an annual best of the best from across the globe championship and it will do wonders for the quality of rugby in general and make the World Cup a much closer affair over time in my opinion.

Dual tournament approach to Rainbow Cup announced
PRO14 Rugby and SA Rugby will operate dual Rainbow Cup tournaments with no cross-hemisphere fixtures in the absence of formal approvals in place to allow the South African teams to enter the UK & Ireland it was announced on Wednesday.
Despite a colossal effort, the South African teams have not been granted the required permissions to travel and allow the PRO14 Rainbow Cup to be played as originally planned.
Multiple options for the South African teams to travel safely to Europe and be based in the UK were explored but could not be put into practice due to the heightened restrictions caused by South Africa’s designation as a “red list” territory in terms of COVID-19 risk.
In its place a ‘southern’ tournament, called the Rainbow Cup SA, will feature the Cell C Sharks, DHL Stormers, Emirates Lions and Vodacom Bulls taking on each other over a double round of home and away action over seven weeks. A new fixture list will be announced shortly.
The ‘northern’ Guinness PRO14 Rainbow Cup will still take place on the dates previously published with the fixtures involving the South African teams removed from the schedule and opponents receiving a bye week during either of Rounds 4, 5 or 6.
This decision has no impact on the long-term partnership between PRO14 Rugby and SA Rugby and more details about those plans and league structure for the 2021/22 season onwards will be made public shortly.
“This is a huge disappointment, but time had simply run out,” said Jurie Roux, CEO of SA Rugby.
“No stone was left unturned to try and find a solution to the challenges – including basing our teams for 10 days in locations in the Middle East or Europe. But the pieces of the jigsaw would not fall into place in time to allow us to put those plans into action.”
A wide stakeholder group, led by a working group between the tournament team at PRO14 Rugby and SA Rugby, produced a long list of various options for entry of the teams, base camps and high-standard medical protocols across the past four months to cater for different scenarios.
In total, 12 venues across the UK, Ireland and Europe were considered as base camps for the South African teams to operate out of or to use as a quarantine destination before entering the UK and Ireland.
SA Rugby also explored another four locations separate to this. Further, destinations in the Middle East were also explored as potential hosts for fixtures involving South African teams.
This process produced project plans for each venue to include suitable training and accommodation facilities and charter travel schedules under the constant guidance of a Medical Management Committee, consisting of the PRO14 medical consultant, tournament staff and union Chief Medical Officers.
This group tracked the status of Covid-19 in the various territories and advised on the strategic approach to governments at all times.
Throughout this process, PRO14 Rugby has had great support of governments and health authorities in all jurisdictions.
Martin Anayi, CEO of PRO14 Rugby, said: “A staggering volume of work has been undertaken to provide a number of proposals and options to accommodate this – all as we navigated the challenges of the second and third waves of Covid-19 as well as the South African variant which constantly changed the landscape we were operating in.
“Among our unions, our own staff and SA Rugby there is no more that could have been asked in terms of designing plans that were medically sound, however, there has been no perfect solution found in time to allow for South African teams’ entry into our territories.
“Whilst the outcome is clearly different from what we had intended, our relationship and partnership with SA Rugby has been greatly strengthened and enhanced by this experience.
"We are looking forward to the two Rainbow Cup competitions and in due course sharing our intentions about our future partnership that will be boosted by the experiences and project-planning involved to this point ahead of the 2021/22 season.”
The full fixture schedule for the Guinness PRO14 Rainbow Cup, including kick-off times and broadcaster information, will be released very shortly.

The PRO14 have confirmed that a North v South Rainbow Cup final is on the cards, and a further announcement will be made next week.
The plan for the North v South final was announced late afternoon Friday by the Pro14 website.
