Hey ProAsm

Sometime ago you said that you might send someone out to Davenport Centre to test for signal. Did that ever happen, and if so, then what were the results?

MyWireless is definitely a viable option, but I just need to know about signal strength etc.

Was there not supposed to be an Umbilo tower going up? Beacause that would be pretty close

Hell we just have not had the time to do tests Tempest, sorry about that, but I am getting another assistant soon who will take care of all testing and modem related stuff and his first job will be to drive Durban flat doing signal tests so that I can build up a database of signal strengths in and around Durban.
Can you see the city from where you are, if so you may be able to get a signal from Bay of Plenty which I hope to get on air by the middle of next week.
The Overport tower (up at Entabeni Hospital) will still be another 2 months unfortunately.

Thanks a lot ProAsm. If the Overport tower is going to be by Entabeni hospital, then that <u>MAY</u> be a possibility too...

Now I just have to find someone near Glenwood with a modem who is willing to test the signal at my place []
