Problem adding extra memory

Our main office machine has 2gb of RAM in one slot and there are 3 spare slots, one white and 2 blue. It uses DDR2. So I have this other machine where the hard disk died with 2 x 1gb DDR2 in it. I put the 2 x DDR2 into the 2 blue spare slots. Now the machine will not even start up, no display!

Any ideas please?

You're using the 1GB sticks in dual channel mode but the 2GB stick in single channel. Not going to work.
