Problem connecting Win XP PC with Win Vista!

Hi guys,

Basically i've connected the XP pc & Vista laptop via ethernet.

Im able to view & access the laptop on my XP machine.

But not on the laptop

It only displays the laptop in (view workgroup computers in vista)

Start by looking if both adapters are in mode: obtain ip adress automatically.YOu can find this by going in the adapter (lan..etc)properties and then internet protocol settings.Post your findings...yes i know its a lod post but i am being very generous

most likely cause is firewall on the vista side
