Problem creating Win xp boot Dvd

Ok so i am trying to create a bootable xp dvd from an xp cd.I extracted the boot image of the disk an copied it to the dvd and then copy the files from the cd to the dvd all works fine until i try and boot the disk.It boots up until the point where it starts loading files then it gives me an error sayin cannot read from i386.Any ideas what could be going wrong?

try using "nlite" to extract and burn your dvd. use a rewritable if possible.

Sigh. You need to use nlite.

All the guy needs to know is that he copy XP CD contents to a new folder->install nLite->point nLite to new folder with XP CD contents->burn to DVD.
