i went to a client tonight and a guy was trying to install an hsdpa card in a pc, but the pc kept going to blue screen, so ive taken it home and ive tried other pci slot cards like lan card pci modem all work fine the minute i put this hsdpa card holder in it gives a blue screen?

anybody know why

the hsdpa card works on my other pc's

It could be a driver conflict or conflict with some application.

Go to start>run, type in msconfig, click startup, click disable all. Now you have to restart each time, by re selecting the next and then the next startup program, until you've figured out what the culprit is.

It's work, but you can do it ;)

take it to a professional and go play BF2.

well, thats what i'd do ;)

yea brawler i do this for a living china :)

tera i cannot get into windows it goes into the xp bar and blue screen bang gone

tried 2 different cards

aggg i'll just change the board see if it helps

Well, remove the card, do the msconfig thing, add the card, start it up and restart select, restart select, until it crashes again.

yup nothing

i put in an old hdd started the windows install gives me a blue screen before i have to press enter

take out the card do the same thing loads windows fine

must be something wrong with the board somewhere

just strange that my lan card sound card and 2 port serial card all work o well what can i do

will go get a new board tomorrow

I remember when I installed mine that there was a specific sequence to the installation of the PCMCIA adapter that should be followed to the letter - or things go belly-up. As far as I can remember the software/drivers must be installed first after which the PC must be switched off. The adapter is then inserted and the PC restarted. A warning note that came with my adapter said that if I did not follow this sequence exactly I would enter PC hell :).

naaa i doubt thats it, ive now put in 3 different computers and it works perfectly

problem is i cannot go back to axiz and say it the board when everything else works fine, i aslo cannot go to my client and say its their fault and none of my suppliers have 939 boards left lol

o well their are losses in business i suppose

Ive also had problems when adding new hardware in Windows XP. It looks like it starts up but then BOOM! Blue Screen. Wot Ive done is go into the BIOS, and look for something like OS2 Reset or similar. And switch it on. Not all BIOSs have these. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't, it worked for me
