Problem with 3g after flash

I flashed my sgs with gingerbread 2.3.2(XWJV1) to be exact.After the flash 3g and edge stopped working.I know it most probably because of that version not being from our region.Although I got the configuration setting again from cellc but still no good.Is there something I'm missing?

Where did you download the ROM from? Was it from KIES?

Might want to try another modem for the version you are on, but best bet would be to actually flash one of the latest ROM's from SAMFirmware. Latest stock firmware available is I9000XXJVR and pretty stable.

Depending on what you flash, you sometimes have to get the proper radio and corresponding RIL files.

This is mostly for people that deviate from the mainstream roms, and sometimes you hit that sweatspot and get a radio combo that not only easier on the battery but also improves speed and voice quality on phones as well.

Best is normally to note your baseband in the settings before you go into the custom rom world.

Best place to look for replacements is normally on XDA, in your phones threads.
