I just bought a 3G/GPRS Option Datacard, I've loaded the vodafone software, when I try to create a new profile - it asks me to insert the card in the PC, after i insert the green LED of the card turn on, but the "next" button didn't show up ( still shadow ) even I already insert the card and SIM Card.
But at my device manager, in USB Controllers detected OPTI82C861 PCI to USB Open Host Controller.
I've also tried the version of software in the box, and the latest version (7) off the vodafone website but the vodafone software still can't detect the device.

For your information, when I attact the card, the green LED turn on.
I am using AcerTM 260 , W2k 4SP.

I already tried to disable all wireless, internal modem, bluetooth device.

Can somebody help me ?

Do you have Nokia phone software (or similar) if so disable - also exit activesync if running and try again.

Have seen problems with Mobile Phone software on several laptops.

I don't have nokia phone software or any mobile phone software.
Anyway thanks for your respons

I tried to insert card, check device manager, it detected and shows up "OPTI82C861 PCI to USB Open Host Controller"
Then I start the vodafone software but still not detect the device :(

I am really desperate :(
