problem with connection - help!

After about a year with no problems using my E220 to connect, everything changed! Since last week it keeps dropping the connection sporadically (every minute or so). The performance also degraded, that is when it did actually manage to stay connected. It seems to all of a sudden be switching between HSDPA and 3G a LOT, is this normal? and is this perhaps when it drops the conn?

any ideas?

what is the best configuration settings for this card?
