Hi all.
First time posting here:)
I went to a dealership in April last year to purchase a tipper truck and was informed that they no longer bringing the trucks because theres new rules in SA where trucks have to have ABS.I was told that they sell the chassis and then get a body builder to build the bin. After paying my deposit I was being given the run around by both the dealer and the bodybuilder and eventually received the truck in July but sent it back because it was not up to standard. The dealer principal then got another engineer to sort the truck out and I only received the truck in August. The truck is still not up to standard and I have went to the consumer protection act but the dealer doesnt reply.I have everything on email and would like to take them to court but not sure which lawyer to use or how to go about doing this. Please assist.

because the body builders have modified it the diesel tank is a problem,it seems they have made some mistakes with the chassis and the bin sways like its about to fall off,the exhaust system they have tampered with, there is constant leaks in hydraulic pipes. There is countless problems and another body builder we took it to told us that the person that built it had no idea what he was doing. Now the dealership keeps saying thats this is the body builders warranty and the bodybuilder has serious issues and no way to deal with customers.
