I ported to Cell C and since then cannot send international SMS. I also got a Galaxy 3 so not sure if it's Cell C or the phone. Hard to test that since it uses a micro sim and I don't have other micro sim devices. I also don't have other micro sims to test in my phone. In any event Cell C does not know why and are still investigating. I can send local sms and they say they don't have a way to block one but not the other. The message centre number is correct and call barring has been deactivated. Any other ideas. The error message is not helpful it just says failed to send and retrying does not help. I also tried 3 different international numbers. 2 in Brazil and one in UK. Although I don't know if the UK one is still active. I also messed with different country code formats to no avail. It did however work on MTN to the number.

Anyone with other ideas?

Maybe won't help but did you try not putting a + in front of the number and use the whole international code? ie. 0027........ or 0044.....

Well, it works on my iPhone using 0044 for the UK prefix (on CellC)
