Problem with Marconi Premium Combo

I made the mistake of going for the Telkom Marconi Premium combo router.

I have 2 XP PCs connected via LAN to the router.
I am using bridged connections.

The router keeps losing the LAN connections at irregular intervals. And I have to restart the router to pick up both computers again

I have already swapped out the router and its still happening with the new router.
I do have the router's firewall on.

any help?

The biggest problem with this router is the telscum logo on it.

I think you should demand telscum take the router back and if you're NOT on a contract (which I hope you're not) then buy a decent router, like Netgear. If you are on a contract ask them for the older 4port router. It's a Marconi and it has the dreaded logo on, but my opinion, it's better than the combo (the name already sounds weird)
