I had my phone sent in to Sony ( via MTN HVRC ) for repairs to the screen. Everything is working 100% but the only problem I have now is the screen will not auto-rotate. Instead if I use the camera in landscape, the screen rotates but then stays like that unless I lock the phone and then unlock it, then it returns to the normal orientation.
My question is, is this a hardware error or maybe a buggy install of the software because I really don't want to have to send it back in, and wait another week or whatever, for something I can do myself.
Some have recommended using custom ROM's but as per my warranty and my private insurance, this might possibly void any claims.
