I bought a car from a private seller. All I have is signed sale agreement. No copy of sellers ID, no yellow paper.
Car has fines and now licence expired. Im trying to get hold of seller as Im done paying it up but seller is avoiding me and not being any help.
Anyone know how I can go about this alone?

Not much you can do as far as I know. You will need to get hold of him somehow

After reading how you went about buying this car, I am amazed you have the intellect to be able to post on the internet..................

Erm, if you don't have the yellow papers it means the car is still in his name and he is liable for any and all fines. Just keep driving fast in front of speed cameras until he answers his phone.

Except there is the possibility of losing the car entirely if the police decide to impound it..

You need to hand in the BLUE form (the yellow form is his issue), copy of sellers ID and title document. Should have gotten those with when you collected the car :-/
