Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone here that uses route sentry or something similar to split traffic has the same problem.

When I use 2 connections, Punkbuster kicks me for "No packet flow"... it only started doing it recently but now I cant get it to work again. Any suggestions?

Here's another thread: http://forums.webafrica.co.za/showthread.php/6767-Keep-getting-kicked-from-Wage-BF3-server

In short: the problem is that PunkBuster is authenticating the wrong IP address due to the traffic splitting.

The only way that you're going to "fix" this, is to stop splitting the traffic, or at the very least routing all the PunkBuster traffic through the same interface that you're using for BF3 to connect to the game server.

So basically add a route in the local adapters routing table to the IP of punkbuster. Now, to find that IP of the PB server....

to0kenZA: download TCPView from SysInternals, and then you should be able to get the IP address that PunkBuster is using.

The only problem that most of you guys will have is that you'll be trying to route international PunkBuster traffic via a local only account.
Like I'm currently using a Prepaid WebAfrica Local Only account to play games on WAGE, so I highly doubt that routing that international PunkBuster IP through my WebAfrica Local Only account will work...

If you're using an IS Local Only account, then it might work, because all 10-30GB IS Local Only accounts includes at least 1GB blended (international+local) cap.

Eish...it's been a long day already. I meant it to be the other way around.

Add the IP to the international routing table, maybe? If I remember correctly now, the routing table for my international adapter on TS contained only a lopoback address. All the other local routes were in the local adapters routing table. So how does TS work? It checks if it can find the route in the LO routing table, and if not, it routes it out via the other interface?

Is there a Trafficsplitter version of the fix?
I tried adding
92.52.124.0,255.255.255.0
159.153.98.0,255.255.255.0
In both routes none of which works.
Local = EA online bla bla
International = PB no packet flow

Noah:
Just add the following routes to the list of Local routes, and then restart Traffic Splitter and click the Set up Routes button.
Code:
92.52.124.0,255.255.255.0
159.153.98.0,255.255.255.0

If you don't want to lose those routes when you click the button to update the list of local routes, then you should add those routes to like the Auxilary list, and then also select your Local PPPoE interface as the Auxilary connection, such that it is selected both as the Local & Auxilary connection.

If it still doesn't work, could you at least tell us what ISP accounts you're using - and indicate which are for international and which for local.
