Hi everyone

I have been having slow international speeds since the IPC problem with different adsl accounts
like afrihost uncapped, Telkom uncapped and fnb connect and I am on the 2mb line.

These are the international speeds during the day everyday on the different adsl accounts
Daytime- 0.20-0.60 mbps
Night time full speed- 1.75-1.90mbps

I emailed afrihost about the problem and they tested my account
and found nothing wrong with the account.

I phoned Telkom about the problem and they re-synced my line
and still the same problem with slow international speeds
on different accounts and Telkom said my adsl line is fine.

I know I am not on a congested exchange because checked that issue.

I am still having slow speeds at this moment now

What should I do anybody PLEASE HELP ?

My international is fine right this moment on afrihost which makes a nice change. Probably best to look your side right now. Try changing your ADSL filter and whotnot if snr is 3 or 4.

SNR/Attenuation figures please

I am using a D-LINK modem so I don't know how this works.

I have used the new adsl filters that came with my D-link modem that I bought 2 weeks back
but still no luck.

I think it sounds normal for a home account on certain protocols. Afrihost are stull upgrading stuff and shapimg heavily.
