Problems accessing certain web sites on iBurst

Problems opening a site

Hi guys im having a bit of an issue with a website on my iburst connection it takes ages to open and then at the end i just leave it cause its taking to long can any of u iburst guys maybe gimme some advice maybe some DNS or something im unfortunetley not by the machine but yesterday when i did a ping i had something like a 500 ms response

If you are using Iburst's default DNS settings you can try this from Google in your network settings to use the IP addresses 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as your DNS servers or OpenDNS which is 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

And you can even download the ultra small DNS test to see almost all available http://www.grc.com/dns/benchmark.htm
 
does using these different IP and DNS servers make a difference in speed and reliability?
 
A friend of mine swears that Google's DNS is so much faster than his local ISP's. I have tried them out, haven't personally noted much difference though.
 
Ok i tested both DNS they ot working for opening that site heres my ping replys

Iburst and my server

Hi All,

Strangest thing, i have a shared hosting server in the US that i host a few small clients on. However any user on iburst cannot get through to my websites 90% of the time... they then have to go through a proxy site to get to the website. I have called iburst numerous times with the IP addresses of both the server and the current connection and they say they cannot help me resolve this issue.

Any ideas what i can do on my server side to solve this problem? Any details please let me know.
