Problems connecting to other players

Hi everyone ,I have a wireless adsl broadband connection to my ps3 and i am really having problems connecting to my friends when i want to join them online,my band with is 512 and my download speed is 1.5 or 1 megabytes per sec.My PS is inches from my modem,i Kan go online and chat with my friends with no problems but as soon as i want to join them in a game I start having errors failure to connect problems,can anybody please help me,I live in Bela Bela Limpopo

Clearly you have no idea of Internet bandwidth (and not "band with") in South Africa There's no way that you can get 1.5MB/s (megabyte/s), but you'll easily manage to get 1.5Mb/s (megabit/s = 1/8th of megabyte/s) down on a 4Mbps ADSL line.

I think your problem is that you didn't port forward on your router. If you don't know the ports that you have to forward, then see if your router supports UPnP, which would allow the PS3 to do the port forwarding on the router.
