I have an old contract (MyCall 100) and got an extra new MTN data card from someone recently. I have installed the software and inserted the "old" sim card in the Data card and checked everthing. The only problem is when I want to connect the "CONNECT" button does not become clickable.

There is a 3 bar signal (Stellenbosch area). I have been to an MTN shop for almost an hour (very imcompetent!) and spent almost 1 hour with some techie from the MTN helpdesk. Still no solution, what can I do? Did anyone have a similar problem? Solutions?

I have the same problem with Vodacom 3G, and very incompetent as well, i was on a conference call for 2 hours still nothing, when I stated that I was going to cancel my contract, they stated they were going to take legal action against me as I had a 24 month contract. PATHETIC Its still not fixed

No "CONNECT" button

I have the same problem now and again, even sometimes the "DISCONNECT" button disappears. Try updating the software (if you have an alternative source of internet) and see if this helps, or try restarting the program.

If none of this works, try PM ginggs. I think he has an alternative to the standard MTN software.

jalbasson - pm me your details; we can compare results. I have used my MTN F@stlink card with different MTN Sims - contract and prepay, no problem. You could test your card in my notebook, or vice-versa, to find the problem by elimination.
