problems today

I'm having issues - in Linden. Where are you located?
 
this happens like once a month, where for about 24 hours telkom tells me its my problem.. and miraculously (soz spelling) its fixed the following day... pisses me off
 
I've been having auth problems for the last 2 days on my SAIX and IS accounts.
Takes me about 10 to 20 tries to get connected.
 
same here been having problems since Monday afternoon on both my IS and telkom accounts

As you can see after my PC sends the PAP auth request the auth server responds with a termination request even though my login is correct! :mad:
My chance of a successful login is about 1 in 15.

ok, today its back to how it was yesterday morning (and most part of the afternoon)..
takes 30 minutes to connect due to all sorts of ****ed up errors, then when does connect, i have 4000 pings to www.saix.net...

ok now is this businesses pwning the bandwidth and ****ing my home adsl up? or is this just a problem with telkom?

i guess what im trying to ask, is it worth spending 45 - 1:30 hours on the phone waiting for some moron 1st level techie to tell me its my router?

so yeah i phoned, and got told that my modem is synchronizing fine, and that i must call my ISP.. thats the new one.. call your ISP!!! i told the guy it was not my ISP and it was the exchange... so he said he'd put me thru to people at my exchange... and obviously he didnt, he put my thru to telkom internet.. my ISP...

this retarded behaviour makes me want to go in there with a shotgun :P

3rd day in a row, all morning and all afternoon till about 4:30, my internet connection is buggered... can someone give me advice on how to go about the phone call? because every time i phone its my problem, and my isp's problem, is there any way i can get it into their head, that it is infact their problem on their side?
 
i dont phone the ISP, considering this happens on IS, and SAIX....

i know for a fact the isp has nothing to do with it.. its from a certain time in the morning to a certain time in the afternoon, every time..

is it possible companies and businesses are completely owning the exchange?
 
Having issues with IS uncapped too.
Lots of disconnects, and then it takes forever to reconnect.
