Problems with 3G Signal???

Is anybody having a problem picking up a 3G signal?? For about the last 4 days I have only been able to get a GPRS connection (Green light on VMC). I am in Durbanville, Cape Town. I am pulling my hair out. Help!!!

Same I have no signal. Keeps on telling me searching for network. But the person in the room next to me connects fine. When you phone vodacom you wait more than 45 min since thats how long it took me before I hung up.

I have un-installed the software and re-installed so many times I am losing count. I don't know if it's the network or the Vodofone Connect Lite software. I am using v2.1.6.1. Anybody got any ideas? I normally get HSPDA speeds here (Durbanville).

According to vodacom, they are upgrading their network, so we should be thankful for all the downtime...it's like screw the customer, they can live without 3g (which they pay for) for a week or so while we do our upgrade...

Really, what is happening to the poor customer in SA?

So I guess we will just have to wait - and at 53kb/s - wait we will !!
