Hey guys, as can be presumed, I have an ATI Graphics Card. Namely a X1800 XT. I am running Vista X64 as it has treated me quite well so far, but in the past 2 months, both of ATI's Catalyst 7.5 and 7.6 drivers have been giving me trouble. :(

Straight after I install the driver, my Windows just becomes really Dull in colour, and I can't really tell if its contrast, brightness, colour saturation, or what it is, but i tried playing around with those settings and nothing seems to fix it :(

The only thing I could do was roll back the drivers to 7.4 which fixes it up.

Has anyone else experienced a problem like this with the latest drivers?

Or should I just lodge the complaint in with ATI Support?

Thanx in Advance
Really Appreciated

I find the MCE selection provides normal display brightness in Vista 32. The PC standard options appears, dull, washed out.

Does CCC show "PC Standard" or "MCE" being set as the default? I find the MCE selection provides normal display brightness in Vista 32.

Try toggling the selection.

That did the trick mate in vista 64. Picture on screen is crisp and clear again.
Thanks for the tip.

Kind Regards
