Problems with Google on Telkom ADSL

I'm in Cape Town, and since Friday I've had issues with Gtalk constantly disconnecting, Google Reader not working, and Google searches / resolving links being very, very slow.

Everything else is fine.
 
In my case the sh*t only hit the fan after doing a Win 7 update on Sunday. After that, my Chrome browser was as dead as a duck and I had to resort to IE again :mad:

Just spoke to someone in Stilfontein also using TI, International is just about dead, BBC.com takes 5 minutes to load - no problems on local.

Do admit that my Chrome was acting up this weekend (I run Chrome under Debian) - was better under Firefox but still lots of issues. I suspected Chrome was doing some sort of caching that made it worse.
 
I have the same problem - only google. BBC loads and other international is fine. Not sure whats going on. Also on Win 7 but Chrome working fine
 
Experiencing the same issues in JHB / Sandton area since Friday. All sites running Google services (Adwords, Analytics, API's, Youtube, etc) are dead! Very frustrating!

Anyone have any updates perhaps? I logged this with Telkom, but obviously they are clueless as usual :-)
 
Same problem here,Meyersdal Alberton area mine started 2 weeks ago already.. reported it to telkom, no reply yet..
Some websites takes forever to load:(
 
:mad: Phoned Telkom again last night, waited for one hour, then the power went down, so had to put down the phone.
Internet speed seems a bit better today, I don't have to wait half an hour for mybroadband to download...
 
As from today we are also experiencing problems with all Google's services, GTalk, Mail, Search etc. All other websites seems to function normally (local and international sites).

Anyone else having problems with Google today?

We are also on Telkom ADSL, with Telkom as our ISP (Pretoria)
 
I cant search in Google, Gtalk unable to connect, Gmail unable to connect to server and times out... and as per user above everything else works perfectly fine... I had a facebook timeout earlier but seems fine now... (in Cape Town area)
 
Same issue here - Glenwood, Durban. Google search page loading slowly or not at all, and any website that uses Google Analytics slow then coming up with an error that cannot load that line of script e.g. the telkom site.
 
I'm having issues loading mostly any international site.
From Cape Town...
Anyone know why this is happening? seems like only tekom users that have this problem.
 
Yes, I am having trouble as well with international sites. Some do load, but very slowly. Most are not loading. Major hassle.
 
Telkom and Google

I can't seem to get any Gmail services to work at all. I'm on Telkom wireless with Telkom as my ISP in Cape Town. Massively frustrating!
 
Can't access any of the Google services. On Telkom ISP.

Just switched to my Axxess account and all is fine, so definitely Telkom problem.
