Is this really the case?
I've been running Hulu on my TI 2mb line viewing HD content for the last week.
I can even go as far as watching 2 simultaneous streams on separate devices without issues.
I was originally concerned about the 2mb being incapable but it has more then exceeded my expectations
I would assume then that you are watching on small screens where reduced quality is not as bad as on the bigger screens?
When I am doing a Hulu stream I can monitor the stream on my firewall and it averages around 250KB/s download speed. This already exceeds a 2mbps line with just one single stream.
The only way you can be doing 2 x simultaneous streams is if the quality is severely reduced. Odd though because Hulu+ does not do dynamic adjusting of quality (AFAIK). It simply buffers. Netflix is good in this area.
But... If this is so on your 2mbps line - consider yourself very very fortunate
