Problems with remote backup for BBM

I'm having major issues with my BlackBerry Messenger. Firstly my avatars and remote back up of BlackBerry Messenger contacts aren't working. I've had to restore using media back up and had to re-invite all my contacts.:mad:

When i try to do a remote backup i get the following message: Please try again later. You are currently being registered with the BlackBerry Messenger Service. This is an automatic process that will complete in a few hours.

Its been like this since Sunday.
 
First question, are all your other BIS services working?
-If not try resending the service books and then do a battery pull, leave it out for about 5min.

What version of BBM are you using?
-latest version is 5.0.1.41

What Service Provider?
Did you get a new phone, software update, other reason you needed to restore?

BTW BBM does not backup the contacts remotely, backs them up to the device memory card linked to an email account, if you plug your mem card into a PC you will see the backup files there.

If service books and an update don't work then you need to call your SP and have them check on their side, its unlikely to be a problem with RIM else there would of been bitching and moaning on Sunday already.
