Problems with Wifi Internet Connection

Hi there guys.

Hope someone can help me

I have a Linksys WRT54G Wireless Broadband Router. My setup is like this.

Router on the roof with cable running down to the office plugged into a Wireless Router. Desktop PC plugged into Wireless Router. Internet Connection is perfect.

Notebook with Wifi picks up the Wireless Network and can connect but I'm not able to send or receive any data. Wifi Connection disconnects every few seconds and reconnects by itself.

What can the problem be??

What sort of Antennae are you using? What signal strength does the laptop get?

Btw, if you are using an Omni Directional antennae. Prepare to be pwned.

No problem. I got it sorted out last night with the help of the live chat technical support on www.linksys.com

The person was very helpful and gave me all the info and software needed to setup the wifi network.

Now I have my own Wifi Hotspot.

Only the beginning.
