Is there any particular reason that so many processes on my Task Manager now have "*32" at the end of them under the Image name column? Should I be concerned about this? For example:

networx.exe *32
notepade.exe
OUTLOOK.EXE *32
plugin-container.exe *32
SearchIndexer.exe
services.exe
wmplayer.exe *32

etc etc...

This is for my work laptop and the specs are as follows:

Windows 7 Enterprise 64Bit Service Pack 1
AMD Phenom(tm) II N620 Dual-Core Processor 2.80GHz
4GB RAM

If I am not mistaken, the *32 indicates that those applications are 32-bit apps and not running at 64-bit (which your OS is)

Correct

As for concerns, not particularly necessary to worry

If it bothers you can go to those software vendor's site and see if they have a 64 bit version of their software available.
But it's really not a crisis.
