Procurve Networking by HP

They have been creating a bit of a shake up in the market, to now being No.2 in the market, in ports and revenue. Second only to Cisco, of course.

But have any of you guys worked with them? And what are your impressions of the equipment?

hey sox.. we've got a few 10/100 24port managed procurves.

no problems; easy to setup and a lot cheaper than cisco. got a nice web interface for monitoring; setup is via console cable or telnet. we chose the managed switch for vlans mainly.

suppose most managed switches have above features but the procurve for me had the right price/usability/feature balance
