Very vague requirements.

Are you looking for a junior, intermediate or senior person?

What experience would be advantageous?

What will be person's responsibilities be? Will he be writing code? Creating documentation? Managing other developers who develop a product? Liasing with clients? All of the above?

I should go into recruitment!

"Exceptional product developer" implies some level of experience.
"Launch your career" implies junior with no experience yet.

Well how I understand it anyway. :what:

Looking for perm/contractor?

I believe a perm can be done at a hair saloon.

Negotiable salary - based in Hyde Park, Jhb, Gauteng.

So basically "industry standard" which translates to "pretty average" which in turn translates to "nothing special".

I can only guess you want to get people into the interview room and then persuade them with a few shares in the company telling him things like "we are looking for a long term relationship, somebody that will become part of the company and grow with us to new levels and in the long run this could be a very lucrative offer".

Why not just post the damn salary? What is it with these job ads.

"An innovative and well-established software house", Who uses a gmail account for job applications? Is someone trying to pull our legs or is this joker just clueless?
