Hi,

I have been tasked to find a program that we can enter a how bunch of data into and be able to pull reports from that data.

The data would be the details of people invited to events, whether they came or not, any value gained from them coming and so forth.

The reports would be for instance how many times has this person be invited and actually attended, what is the average cost of the functions so far and so on.

So first off I thought of Excel as I am sure we could upskill ourselves on how to build a excel spreadsheet that can run these reports via macros or something to that effect.

But now I just remember Access.

I am really not one for experience with what I have been tasked with and when I google marketing statistics analyzing tool not much comes up.

Anyone have any thoughts or experience with this?

In what format is your data? You can always try some BI tools like Tableau or Targit.

Try Excel or Google Docs.
Free and provides the functionality.
Prefer that over Access.

the data still needs to be captured and entered in.

Want to first find the right program to use.

Yeah excel looks alot more affordable compared to Tableau or Targit.

@Pho3nix do you feel that excel offers more versatility than access?

Let me know if you dont come right and need a custom solution.
