Program to check was exactly is uploading/downloading!!!

Hi guys,

Is there a program that can tell me exactly what software is either uploading or downloading on my machine cos atm my firewall shows 200KB/s outgoing, which is screwing my gaming up, but i cant seem to find the program causing it.

All automatic updates are off, no ftp servers running... nothing...

All my firewall tells me is this that the following application is causing it: NT Kernel & system but i assume thats a very broad range or is it specific.

thx dude, seems it was filezilla, yet it didnt show on my taskbar when ive set it to show all.

open a command prompt and type:
netstat -abn

will show you which programs are connecting to where.

If you use Comodo firewall, then there is a tab where you can check how many bytes each app is sending/receiving and to what IP.

if i type that in vista the window opens for like 5 seconds and then closes on its own.

dont do it from Run.. open a Command window

i second this suggestion. Ever since I installed it I could not believe teh rogue attempt programs make to get online ....
